Langkawi: Mangrove Tour

One more last post for Langkawi. Thats it. On our ecosystem tour... Not really lotsa things to do over there especially when the weather is too hot for us. So we decided to cancel all the trekking or hiking or anything that requires too much energy. And so we just settled for a simple tour. The simple mangrove tour. Jump onto the boat and off we go for our life-science / geography tour. Photo time! Eagle feeding! Yea, other boat feed and we watch. Cool. Into the swarm! Animals! Monkeys family. Crab! Crocodile cave! Chay! Its a crocodile cave just because the shape of the cave look like a crocodile. Was still even excited about going there... Bats sleeping! Some shellfish... With lotsa legs underneathe hoh. Hoo... Heehee Haha seems like i appeared in all those pic!!! sea snake! Yar right... its just a piece of rope... Mud skipper! Mangrove! Low tide! Qiang qiang!!! And last but not lest... The gorilla island!!! Looked damn like a gorilla!!!

Langkawi Beach: Pantai Tengah

Only been to one beach for an hour in Langkawi, despite its an island, famous for its beaches?

Went to the one nearest to our resort. (After failing to enter the swimming pool in our resort with clothings on. Kinda unfair, when the royalties of the resort could do that in front of us.)

Hmm nothing special. Pantai Tengah. To me; Beach is beach. Sand and blue sky and sea water. Probably I am not the romantic or sporty under sun type hoh. Don't really like to get my feet wet, don't really like to get any sand into my slippers and don't really like the scorching sun.

Though we did play for a while and had a few shots before the Sun got any burning hot.

Some seasport like banana boating available.

Lonely beach. With footprints of no one else.

Look. Kinda swollen up when the Sun burnt me.

Spot any other human presence yet?

Something about Zodiac

Do you know that now there is actually 13 horoscopes rather than 12? And most of us have got our initial believed horoscope changed? (What? I am no longer a Aries!? Am a Pices now??? So are you wondering now why your horoscope forecast isn't really accurate all these years.)

Here's some news if you are interested: http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2011/01/11/age-aquarius-actually-age-capricorn-thanks-rotation-earth/

And do you know that the Year of Rabbit in our Chinese Zodiac is actually the Year of Cat for Vietnamese? (What? What about the joke that we made when we were young? when people asked which horoscope we belongs to and when we didn't really want to reveal? You know, the same as the 'My birthday falls on 30th Feb' kinda joke...)

"In the related Vietnamese zodiac, the cat takes the place of the rabbit. The Chinese symbol 卯 for the Rabbit sounds like (mão, mẫu, méo, mẹo, mẻo); the word "mèo" is cat in Vietnamese. Therefore, cat was translated from Chinese to Vietnamese as fourth zodiac sign instead of Rabbit." Wiki~

In any way, in Chinese zodiac it doesn't relie on the constellation or anything factual. People came out with it. Be it Rabbit for the Chinese or Cat for the Vietnamese, I don't think there will have any stuning changes. Hekhek.

Anyway, Lunar New Year Eve today. Hope all of you have a wonderful great feast for your Tuan Yuan Fan with your family. And of course wishing you a Happy Happy Happy New Year, Great great year ahead and may all our wishes come true. Good health and of course, HUAT AH!!!!
